I'll get the ball rolling:
My favourite chocolate experience was taking a Chocoholic’s tour of Melbourne. The Chocolate Indulgence Walk began at 12.15pm, with Suzie leading us (using a brightly coloured umbrella, perfectly coordinated with her equally stunning outfit) through some of Melbourne’s arcades via several mouth-watering chocolate shops. Generous tastings were provided at each destination and the experience ended with afternoon coffees and cake. The day was complemented by a free history and architecture lesson from our knowledgeable guide. A total sugar overload, but it could almost be justified by saying that I’d walked off *some* of the calories during the tour.
Where do I start? So many chocolate stories so little time. When I was younger my grandfather brought over (from Cadburys in Hobart) a 5kg box of hazelnut whirls. My grandfather was sleeping in my room and I was sleeping on a folding bed in the lounge room. The chocolates were in the kitchen. That first night I was alone with the box of chocolates. I ate so many (about half the box) I vomitted - repeatedly. But like a true chocoholic I went back for more and vomitted more. To this day I still love hazelnut whirls.
Well, my chocolate story happened a few years ago when I had time to experiement in the kitchen. This experiement was a Chocolate Easter Egg Nest Cake (delicious mag). It consisted of dark chocolate, a few other ingredients and more chocolate. I loved it and so did my little cousins, they were bouncing off the walls for hours afterwards, but the non chocoholics didn't appreciate the hard work I went to. I may do it again with a mixture of dark and milk chocolate to make it not so intense, but I will do it again! Rach
Ok, it was on a trip back from Lake Tahoe when I was in Juior High doing Cheerleading. We stopped into this beautiful little eatery in Truckee, I think named Toffinellies, and after our yummy dinner, I orderd this Chocolate Mouse cake, and it is completely indescribable. There were layers, there were different typs of chocolate, and I was completely blown away. Never again have I been able to find this, or even come close to the absolute heaven that it was eating this lovely little dish! I want it now...
What comes to mind when I think about amazing chocolate experiences? On my birthday this year I had an absolutely awesome chocoate fondant dessert, such a rich cakey pudding with a hot, gooey centre, it was amazing! The other girls I was out with couldn't finish it because they thought it was too rich, but I love a challenge... It was downstairs at the Stokehouse in St Kilda if anyone wants to try it but it was from the specials board so I hope they still have it!
my "flaverite" all time chocolate memory dates me back to the 90's. It was all quiet in our house of 5 girls (3 on camp, mum and dad at the shed milking)..
..twas Easter, and the bunny had been lavishing his chocolate goodness on us. I, being a cheaky teenager, thought that it would be funny to pin down my younger sister (under the age of 10), sit on her, and eat her last egg! (unbeknowns to her, that I actually had more and could replace it).
hee hee hee, what a nasty (yet fair) sister I was. and Mmm that egg was delishious!

My favourite chocolate memory is when I was little about 4 or 5, my mum worked afternoon shift at Holden and my sister and I used to cry buckets when she left for work. But at least once a week she would bring home some Cadbury chocolate in a block from the Holdens canteen. Which means that the Cadbury purple in Fruit and nut is forever a favourite as it reminds me of our mum thinking of us and wanting to make us happy.

What can I say. I am a Wilkinson. We are serious chocoholics! All of us. Even my cousin I have just discovered is continuing this Wilkinson trate.
We when I was a wee tacker in junior school probably 6 or 7 I was sick so mum and dad dropped me off at mu loving grannies place for her to look after me while mum and dad worked for the day. Well come lunch time my grannie just back from a shopping trip presented me with a chocolate pig wrapped in pink foil. I was sick mind you but yes I ate the whole thing. And then my grannie made me a melted chocolate sandwich. I was in heaven and yes i ate that sandwich as well. TASTY.... My sickness was cured I was feeling great.
