Cookbook Giveaway "the baker"

It was the shortest day in Melbourne yesterday.  The start of winter solstice.  I've been blogging for the last year and a half.  I'm having a baby.  I took the day off work today.  The fridge is stocked full of delicious fresh food.

Whatever the reason.  Let's celebrate.

To thank those of you that take the time to read my blog and post comments, I'd like to reward you with a cookbook giveaway.  Just because.

I bought myself a copy of "the baker" by Leanne Kitchen.  It's a wonderful cookbook full of simple recipes plus some lessons thrown in on baking techniques, history of ingredients, and beautiful pictures of good old fashioned food.  It's so lovely, I just had to buy two.

So readers, if you'd like a copy, just tell me what your favourite thing to bake is.  Be sure to leave your email address or another way for me to contact you!

** Open to Australian residents only.  One entry per person.  Entries close 5pm AEST Sunday 26th June 2011.

Hi Kaz,

I really love your blog and the inspiration it brings. I also LOVE cookbooks and dreaming of the time I will get one day to cook from them all!

I really love to bake cakes - Christmas is a great and wonderfully smelling time in our house with the fruit cakes cooking, cookies baking and the laughter of friends! I also love breads!

Hope all is going well,
Love Rach S

Oh, I love celebrations, and those events in your life definitely warrant it! I'm not great at baking so my favourite thing to bake is muffins - because they're pretty easy and delicious. :)

I just love baking! Must be something very therapeutic about getting flour everywhere! Also there's nothing as comforting and yummy as the beautiful smell of lovely hot bread, cakes and scones coming hot out of the oven...Mmmm!

Love baking for my 2yr old daughter who has an egg allergy -she & her "big" 4yr old sister have their own aprons and are always "helping" me make cakes, muffins, bikkies or whatever takes our fancy that day.
